THE SHAMROCKS will be batting for a sixth consecutive grand final appearance in 2016, having won three of five in recent years.

Club Coach, Dane Anderson, is pretty confident going into the next season, saying that they are getting good numbers turning out to training.

“We think anything short of making a grand final again would be a disappointing season for us.”

The club has been busy fundraising in the off season at Westbury IGA, encouraging the locals to come and watch them play.

“It would be good to see a few faces from the local community down at the cricket ground once the season starts.”

“There will be games in Westbury every Saturday and Sunday.”

Several players may have the chance to represent Tasmania in the U17 National Championships.

The first grade season starts early October.
