THANKS TO state government funding for Neighbourhood Houses to upgrade their facilities, Deloraine House will soon undergo a makeover.
An extension to create a new, larger meeting room plus four new toilets is in the works.
Manager, Ros Albiston, commented, “The (Health and Human Services) Department developed the concept plan but all the work will be carried out by local builders.”
The new meeting room is estimated to provide space for 25 to 30 people to gather comfortably.
The extension is scheduled to be complete by end of October.
